...I can say without reservation that this is the finest resort hotel in Tuscany. Just opened in March 2007 and word of mouth is quickly spreading. In a few months, I predict it will be impossible to get a reservation at this gorgeous property.

We have just returned from 2 nights 3 days at Castello Banfi celebrating our 30 year Anniversary. We enjoyed fine wines and First Class Service and we wanted something special and this surpassed our expectations... The warm welcome on arrival to the loading of our cases into our car by golf buggy on departure- the hospitality extended to us was very special. The dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant was fantastic - the service was immaculate and their choice of wine with every course was just a great experience. They serve with white gloves and the quality of china and glass and silver is impressive. Complimentary Estate wines were given in our room for us to try. We have experienced the Orient Express and a number of luxury holidays in Mauritius but this was quality a notch higher... A special Thanks to Andrea ,Alessandro, Paulo and the Team for a very special and memorable visit.

This newly opened small hotel that is part of the Mariani family's wine estate offers exquisite accommodations, outstanding dining and service that is warm, welcoming and professional. From the winding drive to the castle to the white rose garden to the buttery croissants in the breakfast basket, every detail is carefully crafted to create a marvelously relaxing experience that is both elegant and comfortable. I discovered the restaurant and winery accidentally on a trip two years ago and was eager to return when the hotel opened. I was not disappointed. This family knows hospitality...and, of course, wines, including glorious Brunellos. This is a magical place!

My fiance and I stayed here on April 6th and 7th 2007 and loved it... There are many luxurious places in the world to stay but few that are truly unique in location and style. Everything is located in the castle grounds overlooking the Banfi vineyards which are a slice of Tuscan heaven. You don't get a room in a large hotel...you get a large room to yourself that is unique in its design and perfect in every way. The restaurants are great - excellent food and top notch service in intimate rooms... The rooms are spacious, luxurious and clean, a real joy in which to be. The grounds are immaculate... The staff is perfectly helpful when you need them and unobtrusive when you don't. I did not want to leave.
